The late Tray Walker was an exceptional young man who learned early in life about the power of belief. In spite of his personal trials and tribulations, he was able to persevere and graduate from high school as well as obtain a college degree. Believing in himself, keeping steadfast in attitude, and training hard, he was drafted into the NFL.

Tray's beliefs are the inspiration for the foundation's mission. The mission is to promote literacy and foster the love of reading throughout the communities. The goal is to get the whole family involved. When the family gets involved, the entire household greatly benefits.
